Spring onion chutney 🌱

When fresh spring onion grew at home, I wanted to a some spread/chutney. which is a perfect alternative to any artificial spreads /dips or chutneys. .My Healthy recipe blog brings this spread in your vegan recipe book.

How to eat it?

This is a versatile spread which can be enjoyed in various ways

- As a bread spread

- As a chutney in the chaat

- As a dip for starter

- Chutney with any meal

Ingredients

2 spring onions finely chopped

4-5 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

1 lemon size jaggery (add it a bit less or more as you like)

1 tsp tamarind paste

2 garlic cloves

2 green chillis

Some fresh mint leaves(optional)


Recipe

Simply blend all the above ingredients in a mixer. without adding any water

Keep mixing from now and then so that the paste grinds well and your mixer does not get spoilt

The spread is ready.. Store it in a airtight jar preferably a glass jar for up to 10 days

When ever you open to eat it remember to use a fresh dry spoon.
