Looking for an Indian street food idea for the holiday season? Not guilty version as well ? Easy and quick to make? The wait is over!

Our mouth starts watering the moment we talk about street food. At least this is true in my case. So whenever I am in a festive mood , holiday mood or wanting to surprise my partner with something special one of my picks is usually street food variety like this one.

This Papri chat is prepared using crisp baked dough flaky biscuits or wafers along with boiled potatoes, vegan yogurt from @alpro, mixed spices, tamarind and mango chutney (sauce) , pomegranate seeds, dried curry leaves and mint sauce.

Let us see together How to eat it? and How to make it?

How to eat it?

Eat it as a snack anytime during the day, a quick evening snack meal as well or an apero serve for guests, family, friends. This can be complemented with toasted vegan read slices and peanut salad like I did and it was basically my meal after a quick walk.

Ingredients

1 cup vegan yogurt

2 tbsp cane sugar (or any other sweetener you may prefer)

5-6 dried curry leaves (optional but I like it for the unique flavour)

4-5 tbsp Pomegranate seeds

1/2 tbsp Red chilli powder (I used homemade version but feel free to get it from the known brands)

1/2 tbsp Chaat Masala

1/4 tbsp flax seeds powder

1 big boiled potato (diced in cubes)

1 tbsp tamarind chutney (add more or less as per your taste)

1 tbsp mango chutney (add more or less as per your taste)

1 tbsp mint chutney (add more or less as per your taste)
